Salt Spray corrosion testing is used to evaluate the relative corrosion resistance of a coated part exposed to a salt spray or fog at an elevated temperature. The chamber is kept at an operating temperature of 95°F and fogging a 5% salt solution at the required 1.0 – 2.0mL/hr. Based on the ASTM B117 testing standard, Cerakote’s H Series
